Year to year promotion is contingent upon satisfaction of the applicable competency requirements for each basic subject area as prescribed by the GPS Governing Board and the State Board of Education. As a commitment to the academic development of our students, Gilbert Public Schools is pleased to offer both in-person and online credit recovery options for students in 7th - 12th grade.
Gilbert Global Academy for JHOffers online, independent learning courses for credit recovery in 7th and 8th grade
English, Math, Social Studies and Science Location: Anywhere with WiFi and in the United States
Dates: May 28 - July 10th, 2026
*No Extensions; Final Exams must be completed by the last day of the scheduled session. Hours: Courses available 24 hours a day;
Teachers grade and give feedback within 48 hours and are available by appointment via WebEx Cost: Global Academy charges $200 per semester course for recovery courses. Fees must be paid online through InTouch (accessed through your Infinite Campus parent portal).
Students will receive an email prior to the first day of class with instructions for logging in and completing the course. Please plan to finish your course in a timely manner. Students will be expected to work 2-3 hours per day, per course, in order to finish on time and complete the final exam by the deadline.

Cost: Prep (& credit recovery) courses are $200 per session.
