Year to year promotion is contingent upon satisfaction of the applicable competency requirements for each basic subject area as prescribed by the GPS Governing Board and the State Board of Education.  As a commitment to the academic development of our students, Gilbert Public Schools is pleased to offer both in-person and online credit recovery options for students in 7th - 12th grade.

Gilbert Global Academy

Offers online independent learning courses in 7th and 8th grade
​English, Math, Social Studies, Science and PE.

Traditional (In-Person) Secondary Summer School

Offers credit recovery courses in 7th and 8th grade
Math (only).
Location: Gilbert High School
Session 1: June 3rd – June 14th, 2024
     * 1st semester credit recovery classes only *
Session 2: June 17th – June 28th, 2024
     * 2nd semester credit recovery classes only *
JH Hours: 7:30 am– 12:30 am
Cost: GPS Secondary Summer School charges $200 per course. Fees must be paid online through InTouch (accessed through your Infinite Campus parent portal).
