All 8th grade students will be placed in the following core, academic courses:
PRE-ALGEBRA,
SCIENCE 8,
​ENGLISH 8 &
HISTORY AND SOCIAL SCIENCES 8

Considering an Honors Course?

South Valley Junior High offers Honors programming in the following core courses:
HONORS ALGEBRA I,
HONORS SCIENCE 8,
HONORS ENGLISH 8 &
HONORS HISTORY AND SOCIAL SCIENCES 8

Elective Courses

8th grade student schedules will include two (2) electives.

Registering for a course is a commitment on your part to take that course. 
​Elective change requests will not be honored.
